Midtown continues to receive national recognition
Midtown Health Center continues to be recognized for its quality healthcare. Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) announced that Midtown has received three Community Health Quality Recognition awards. Those three awards are:
- Health Center Quality Leader (Gold) – For being in the top 10% out of 1,400 health centers across the nation.
- Advancing HIT (Health Information Technology) for Quality – recognizes health centers that meet all five the following criteria: Adopt an electronic health record system, offer telehealth services, exchange clinical information electronically, engage patients through health IT and collect data on patient social risk factors.
- Addressing Social Risk Factors – a new award introduced to recognize health centers that are administering standardized screening tools to collect social risk factor and increasing enabling services offered across consecutive years.
According to HRSA, these awards are to recognize health centers that made notable achievements in the areas of access, quality, health equity, health information technology, social risk factors screening, and COVID-19 public health emergency response using Uniform Data System (UDS) data from the most recent reporting period.
