HRSA Recognizes Midtown Health Center as a State and National Quality Leader
Midtown Health Center continues to be recognized for its commitment to providing exceptional, patient-centered care. The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) has once again honored Midtown with multiple Community Health Quality Recognition (CHQR) awards for outstanding performance.
This year, Midtown Health Center received six awards:
- Health Center Quality Leader (Gold) – Awarded to only three Nebraska health centers, this honor recognizes the top 10% of all community health centers nationwide for overall clinical quality performance.
- Advancing Health Information Technology (HIT) for Quality – Recognizes health centers that excel in leveraging health IT, including electronic health records, telehealth, patient engagement, clinical information exchange, and social risk factor data collection.
- Behavioral Health – Midtown is one of just two Nebraska health centers recognized for providing high-quality behavioral health services and expanding access to mental health and substance use disorder care.
- Preventive Health – Recognizes strong performance in preventive care measures, including screenings, immunizations, and early detection services.
- Diabetes Health – Midtown is one of only two Nebraska health centers honored for effective management and improved health outcomes for patients living with diabetes.
- Heart Health – Recognizes quality care and positive outcomes for patients with cardiovascular health needs.
According to HRSA, these awards highlight health centers that demonstrate achievements in access, quality, health equity, and the use of data and technology to advance care.

Midtown has consistently been recognized nationally for quality care, earning CHQR awards for more than a decade.
